With deepest sympathy we remember Mr. Walter Lee Fields...
Walter Lee Fields was born January 14, 1938 to Jospeh and Ira Bell Conway Fields.
He was a member of Poplar Springs C.M.E. Church where he was a member of the male chorus. Walter loved to sing and enjoyed singing with the Crowns of Harmony for eighteen (18) years and the Faithful Few for five (5) years.
He was united in holy matrimony to Mary Fields in 1794.
He leaves to cherished his memories his wife Mary Fields of Shannon, MS, one daughter Mary (Jimmie) Johnson; three sons Robert (Betty) Blaylock, Willie (Rosiland) Blaylock, Jerry (Valeria) Fields; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside Service: Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 11 am at Poplar C.M.E. Church Cemetery, Stovall Clark Road, Shannon, MS
Walk-Thru Visitation: one hour prior (10-11am) to service at the cemetery
