August 14, 1942 a beautiful baby girl was born. They named her Vivian Leigh, after the movie star Vivian Leigh from the movie "Gone with the Wind". Vivian was loved and nurtured all her life. She was the second of seven children. At an early age she was dedicated to the Lord when her parents brought her to Palestine A.M.E, which later became Palestine United Methodist Church. She remained a faithful member until she left home in pursuit of a career and family. Even when away she was always concerned with the affairs of her church. Whenever she returned home she always attended Palestine. While away she was a faithful member of Haven United Methodist Church in Clarksdale MS. The Lord was never any farther than a breath away from her. In 2005 she returned home to Palestine United Methodist Church where she remained until her health started failing her. She loved the Lord.
