?Mrs Valda Jean Campbell 59 died on May 14,2016 at her home in Tupelo,Ms .she was born to the late Lorraine Bergand James Rainey and James Rainey and her Mississippi parents. Sonny and Laura Jo Dillard.Valda professed her hope in Christ and united with St.Paul United Methodist Church in Tupelo,Mswhere she was a faithful member until her health failed. Valdaattended Beloit Memorial High School and graduated from Cosmetology School. She united in marriage on August 30,1991 to Cedric Delaney Campbell of Pueblo,Colorado.Val was a loving a caring person.She loved to read,cook and play bingo  She also enjoyed spending time with her family.On Saturday,May 14,2016 God granted Val eternal peace after dealing with an extended illness,at the age of 59.Val leaves to cherish precious memories,her loving husband of 25 years,Cedric Delaney Campbell of Pueblo.Colorado,threeCharles Carter(April) Joel Campbell(Quala) and Austin Campbellall of Tupelo,Ms two daughter,Athena Henderson of Beloit,WIand Veronica Langston(Marlon)of Tupelo, a special granddaughter Teayana Longs, whom she raised as her own,five sister,Sandra Dongan of Pontotoc,Priscilla Merritt(Dexter),Joann Geregory(Jimmy),Lauranna Dillard all of Tupelo,LaHarean Steward(Nick) of Booneville,two brothers Michael Shumpert,Rev.Earnest Harris(Tonya) of Tupelo a mother in law Gladys Merritt(James)of Tupelo a special Uncle Paul Morrow(Lillian) of Beloit, WI.a special cousin Gloria Harris(Mike) a host of grandchildren,nieces nephews,nd other relatives,and friendsA Memorial service was held on Friday May 20,2016 at 1;00PM  at N.L.Jones Chapel
