Mr Thurston Joe Weatyherspoon affectionately called "JO JO" by his family and close friends was born on May 27,1970 to Marcia Blair and Paulette Weatherspoon.He was reared by his maternal grandmother,the late Julia Lee Weatherspoon.Joe was an outdoors man who enjoyed hunting,fishing and fixing automobiles.He had many others trades such as landscaping,carpentry,and home improvement. Prior to his automobile accident he was employed at Unitde Furniture Industries in Nettleton ,Ms. He departed this life on April 26,2017 at his home in Tupelo,Msas a result of injuries sustained in the automobile accident.He leaves to cherish his memories Melody C Harris,his Fiancee and caregiver of Tupelo,Ms seven children Brittany Hughes,Braxton Hughes,and Terrance Weatherspoon all of Tupelo,Ms Alphonzo Riley of Dorsey,Ms and Kenna Ward,Thurston Joe Weatherspoon,Jr and Charleka Weatherspoon,all of Baton Rouge,LA his parents Paulette(George)Dunwoody and Marcia(Beatrice)Blair all of Itwamba County.His silbings James(Amber)Shumpert,Joseph(Elizabeth)Shumpert and Lisa Gathings of Tupelo,Ms five grandchildren,Heavenly Hughes,Kylie&Carly Clark,Terrance Weatherspoon,Jr and Shilau Weatherspoon also left to cherish his memory are a host of aunts,uncles,nieces ,nephews,cousins,and many special friendsJoe was preceded in death by his parternal and maternal grandparents,stepfather whom taught him the value of hard work,JD Shumpert and sister Valery Riley.
