With deepest sympathy as we remember Shirley Jean... Shirley Jean Morris-Marshall, 73, ended her earthly journey at her daughter's home in Holly Springs, MS on April 20, 2018. She was the youngest child born to Robert Lee Morris and Willie Mae Mabry-Morris on February 26, 1945, known to friends and family by "Juga Wuga" and "Bab." She professed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and baptized at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Shirley was a hard-working family woman that enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, but most of all spending quality time with family and the ones she loved. She spent many years with her companion Jack Harper who has preceded her in death. Also preceded by her father Robert Lee Morris; her mother Willie Mae Morris; her daughter Kimberly Sheretta Ruff; siblings Jim Adams, Willie Shumpert, John Thomas Morris, Gertrude Shumpert, Luther Morris, Robert Lee Morris, Jr., Josephine Birks, Viola Foster, A.B. Morris, Essie Bell Clark, William Albert Morris, Ernestine Lyles, Clyde Morris; host of nieces and nephews. Shirley will forever be remembered by two children Kimberly Coleman of Holly Springs, MS and Terrence Ruff of Plantersville, MS; sister Mozell Curry; six grandchildren Jockzies Coleman, Natasha Coleman, Tanesha Coleman-Walker, Adriana Gladney, Cameron Ruff and Kyle Ruff; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Services will be on Sunday April 29, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at N. L. Jones Funeral chapel. Burial will follow immediately at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church cemetery in Nettleton, MS.
