Rickey L. Cook was born March 17, 1957 in Okolona, MS. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age.
Rickey was united in holy matrimony to Angelena Dethrow Cook. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Grover C. Baker and brother, Grover C. Baker, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving mother: Olivia Baker of Aberdeen, MS; a wife: Angelena Dethrow Cook of Okolona, MS; three daughters: Carnetta Grace Cook of West Point, MS, Jessica McIntosh of Nettleton, MS, Dymond Dethrow of Okolona, MS; three sisters: Janice Goldsmith of Fayetteville, NC (Aberdeen, MS), Joyce (Ted) Arterberry of Huntsville, AL, Teresa Baker of Tupelo, MS; one brother: Darnell Cook of Aberdeen, MS; one brother-in-law: Jeffrey Dethrow of Tupelo, MS; a special brother: Kenneth Ray Baker (Gladys) of Aberdeen, MS; two grandchildren: Tamarcus Hardy and Jada McIntosh of Nettleton, MS; and a host of relatives and friends.
