Mattie Evelyn Williams was born September 16, 1951 to Jack and Hannah Andrews in Tupelo,MS. She departed this life May 13, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center.

Mattie was a member of New Lebanon MB Church. She was well known as a stylist and business owner in Tupelo's beauty industry. In later years she worked with the children at Happy Feet Learning Center in Shannon.

Mattie was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She leaves to cherish her memories her children Anthony Andrews (Justine) of Tupelo, Antonio Andrews (Greta) of Belden, Christopher Williams (Monica) of Tupelo, Tammy Ford (Ron) of Shannon, and Natasha Williams of Tupelo; her siblings John Andrews, Wyonnia Pannell, Windle Scott, George Wayne Andrews, all of Tupelo, and Will Lee Andrews of St. Louis, MO, many grandchildren, special friend Eric Judon and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
