Obituary

With deepest sympathy as we remember Martha Ann... Martha Ann Rogers, 68, passed away May 11, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was born April 5, 1950, to the late Murphy and Susannah Cole. She was a member of the First New Bethel Church in Plantersville, MS. Survivors include her husband, Oneal Rogers of Plantersville; one daughter, Prescilla Adams of Saltillo; two sons Rodney (Mitzi) Rogers of Shannon and Tony Rogers of Plantersville; four sisters Mary Brinker of Corinth, Augusta Berry of Palmetto, Lanette (Lawrence) Westbrook and Tracy (Lalter) Simpson all of Verona; five brothers Thomas (Alice) Word of Shannon, Roy Lee (Joann) Cole of Verona, Stanley (Billie Faye) Cole of Baldwyn, Jimmy Cole and Roger Cole Sr. both of Tupelo; one brother-in-law Clee (Mary) Rogers of Surprise, AZ; five grandchildren Jeremy (Tyisha) McClendon, Prenetia Clark, Josiah Williams, Amber Adams and Ryan Rogers; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Monroe Cole. Services will be Friday May 18, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Second Baptist Church in Verona, MS. Burial will follow at Center Hill cemetery in Plantersville, MS. Visitation will be Thursday May 17, 2018 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at N. L. Jones Funeral Directors.
