Louis Allen Barnes Sr. was born June 29, 1943 in Guys, TN from the union of Jimmie (whom preceded him in death) and Laura Barnes. He was the eldest of their two children. Louis graduated from George W. Carter H.S. in Tupelo, MS. Louis met the love of his life, Alma "Jean" Ruff, and they were married on December 6, 1963, to this union ten children were born. Louis was a dedicated and respected machine operator at Borg Warner Automotive for thirty-one years. He was a member of the Church of Christ were he was baptized in 1972. He remained a faithful member until his health failed him. Louis leaves to cherish his memory; his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Jean Barnes, his mother, whom he affectionately called "Ma'Dear", his one and only brother, Forrest Barnes (Yvonne) in South Holland, IL; (5) sons, Louis Barnes Jr., Brian Barnes in Calumet City, IL, Marty Barnes of Guntown, MS, Christopher Barnes, Randy Barnes both of Maplewood, MN; (6) daughters Debra Beene of Chicago, IL, Darolyn McKinney (Robert) of Chicago, IL, Danielle Williams (Robert) of Hammond, IN, Daphne Barnes, Dana Barnes both of St. Paul, MN, and Dara Barnes of Riverdale, IL. Also leaves his mother-in-law of 47 years, (3) sister-in-laws; (4) brother-in-laws; and his grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and wonderful friends.
