With deepest sympathy as we remember L.C. Crayton...    Lee "L.C." Crayton, 77, passed away on Monday April 16, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was born on April 18, 1940 to Rufus Crayton and Rennie Mosley Crayton.  L.C. loved singing and sang with various local quartet groups. L.C. also worked for Delta for 32 years.  He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Dorthy Gates-Crayton; six daughters, Vergie Crayton, Lisa (Richard) Dilworth, Sharon Gates-Albert, Nerina Gates-Ratliff, Tritina (Lamont) Siddell, and Prudence Hatchett all of Belden, MS; one son Dennis (Twasla) Gates of Baldwyn, MS; two brothers, Martin Crayton of Tupelo, MS and Thomas Crayton of Belden, MS; 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.  Visitation will be on Saturday April 21, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with family hour from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at N. L. Jones Funeral Directors. Services will be on Sunday April 22, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Living Word and Praise Church in Tupelo, MS.
