Kenneth Wayne Gardner was born April 2, 1960 to Coy Pickens and Mary Helen Clay.
He was a member of the Palestine United Methodist Church of Nettleton, MS. Kenneth attended Nettleton High School where he was a member of the NHS Band. He graduated in 1978. Ken enjoyed fishing, working on cars and watching westerns.
Kenneth married Sandra Long of Verona, MS and to this union was born one son Jarvis. Later, he married Debra Green and to this union two children were born, Kenniya and Kendal.
Kenneth memories will forever be cherished by his wife Debra Gardner of Shannon, MS; his mother Mary Helen Clay of Nettleton, MS; one loving daughter Kenniya Gardner of Shannon, MS; three sons Cedarian Birks of Tupelo, MS, Jarvis Gardner of Verona, MS and Kendal Gardner of Shannon, MS; one sister Alfredia Miller of Nettleton, MS; four grandchildren Tatiana (TT), Dontarius (DJ), Darrius (Shakey) and Emili (fat momma); three special friends Ronnie Orr, Harold Sykes, Greg Marion and many other relatives and friends.
Kenneth was proceeded in death by his father Coy Pickens.
Graveside Service: Saturday, June 20, 2020 @ 1pm at Mullen Cemetery, Nettleton, MS
Walk-thru Visitation: Friday, June 19, 2020 from 4-6 pm at N.L. Jones Funeral Home
