With deepest sympathy we remember Mr. James Robert Garth, Jr...
James Robert Garth, Jr (JJ) was born May 22, 1979 to the late James Robert Garth and Teresa Ann McKinney in Southbend, Indiana. At an early age he accepted Christ as his savior and was a member of Living Word and Praise. On December 4, 2019, his Lord called him to rest.
James was a 1997 Tupelo High School graduate. He had a laughter that filled the room, and his contagious smile matched his beautiful personality that allowed him to never meet a stranger. April 30, 2005, James married Pasteia Betts and together they had three beautiful girls: Kinlyn, Avie, and Jaime. James was employed as a forklift driver and/or a machine operator for several factories in Pontotoc, MS and Tupelo, MS. His current employment, however, was with KDM Coating in Tupelo, MS.
He leaves to cherish his memories: His wife, Pasteia and their three children: Kinlyn, Avie, and Jaime; His daughter, Khylee Gardner; His mother, Teresa Ann McKinney; His grandmother, Minnie Ashley; His sisters, Tracy Garth and Stacy Ratliff; His brother, Robert Garth (Marcella); His Other Mama, Lera Jones; His mother-in-law, Rea Ann Shepherd ( Vashon); sister-in-law, Ahtashia Brown, and brother-in-law, Jermaine Betts (Chekelah); His God parents, Charles and Angela Bobo; His God brother and closest friend, Gregory Bobo; His God sister, Sharmaine Bobo; His friend, Lejon Harris; Nine (9) Nieces, One (1) Nephew, Aunts, Uncles, other relatives and friends.
