Obituary

Glorius was born on April 21, 1948 to the late Albert Brooks, Sr. and Annie Mae Richardson Brooks of
Shannon, MS. She departed this earthly life from Sunshine Nursing Home in Pontotoc, MS on
Wednesday afternoon, March 30, 2022.

She touched so many lives and was loved by all who met her. Glorius attended Fannie Carter
Elementary and Fannie Carter High School. She began her Christian journey at Poplar Springs Christian
Methodist Episcopal Church and was a faithful member until her health failed. Glorius was the former
vice president of the Stewardess Ministry, a member of the Missionary Society, president of the
Kitchen Committee, a delegate at the annual conference. Most importantly, she loved accompanying
the Pastor to help with Holy Communion in Community Nursing homes. Her mission in life was helping
others and caring for her family, whom she loved dearly.

For over twenty years, Glorius was employed by NMMC in Tupelo, MS. She later began working at Alan
White Company in Shannon, MS until she retired.

Glorius was married to Dan Wallace, who preceded her in death. To this union three children were
born: Tanya, Maurice, and Anthony.

She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Brooks, Sr., brothers: Ronald Brooks, Willie Ray Brooks,
grandparents, Zack and Amy Brooks, Urell and Edna Richardson, grandson: Antonio D. Hooks;
nephews: Roscoe Brooks and Derrick D. Jones, and several aunts and uncles.
Glorius leaves to cherish precious memories, a beautiful daughter, Tanya Wallace Crump (Jermaine) of
Shannon, MS, loving sons: Maurice D. Wallace of Shannon, MS and Anthony L. Wallace (Kenya) of
Houlka, MS; her precious mom, Annie Mae Richardson Brooks; brothers: Albert Brooks Jr., (Joyce), Rev.
