Gloria Jean Harris, age 63, of Pontotoc, MS passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021. She was born in Pontotoc, MS on June 28, 1958, to William "Pick" Coleman and Willie Sue Givhan (David).

Gloria attended Pontotoc City Schools and professed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Pleasant Chesterville Missionary Baptist Church. She was a dedicated member and the best tambourine player ever! She was a dedicated choir member.

Gloria was married to Michael Harris on February 25, 2000, and they remained married until her death. She retired from North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo and became a home health care giver until her health declined.

Gloria was a very kindhearted person with a great spirit and attitude. She didn't meet any strangers and would welcome anyone into her home. She had a beautiful smile, loved to dance, and enjoyed spending time with her family, going to blues concerts and the casino.

She is survived by her husband Michael Harris; her three daughter Jessica Meadows (Calvin), Latoya Dillard and Tynisha Dillard; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, siblings Willie Jean Adams (Donald), Sidira Townsend (Eric), Sherry Holmes (James), Steve Givhan, Tommy Mabry Bennie), Jacqueline Lockridge (Larry); one godson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, a very special aunt Essie Ivy, very special cousin Joann Gregory (Jimmy) and godsister Vanessa Osborne.

Gloria was preceded in death by her mother Willie Sue Givhan, her father William "Pick" Coleman, her additional father Marion David Givhan and her brothers Donald Mabry and Bill Coleman, Jr.
