She was born May 16, 1958 to Katie Shack and John Metcalf. She joined Second Baptist Verona at an early age and later joined Rising Star M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Runney D. Patterson. She was a former employee of Ramada Inn and McDonald until she became disable. Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Mr. Alvin Triplett Sr. of Tupelo, MS; (1) son Kevin (Diana) Miller of Phoenix, AR; (4) grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Jordan, Alisha, and Alissa Miller; her mother and father-in-law Eloise and Alvin Triplett; her God mother Laura Lee Tate of Saltillo, MS; (6) sisters, Rosie Abbott, Daisy (Tyrone) Fields, Vylene (Luther) Boyd, Jessie (Jerome) Sebastian all of Tupelo, MS, Lueburta Harris of Omaha, NE, Grace Ingram of Washington, DC; (9) brothers, Carl (Nancy) Ashby of Okolona, MS, William (Bobbie) Metcalf, Leon (Mattie) Shack, Floyd Cole all of Tupelo, MS, Rev.
