Frances M. Brinker Watkins was born July 2, 1937 unto the late Cleotis and Anna Brinker. She was a longtime member at Second Baptist Church in Verona. She attended school at Mary C. Wade. Sister Watkins was married to John Watkins and unto this union five children were born. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 53 years, Bro. John Watkins; her children Lenora Watkins, Teresa Watkins, Kenny Watkins, Terry Watkins (Sarah) a stepdaughter Betty Rogers (Curtis) all of Verona; a aunt Alberta Glenn of Tupelo; her sister & brother Cleotis (Jan) Brinker, Bobby Brinker both of Verona; Clyde Brownlee and Willie B (Pookie) Betts of Mt. Clemins, MI; her sisters Earnestine Skinner and Dorothy Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Debra Watkins, a grandson Kenny Watkins Jr., a niece Michelle Brinker, (2) nephews Stacy and Anthony Brinker and a special friend.
