With deepest sympathy as we remember Emma Jean Crayton... Emma Jean Crayton age of 73 died on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in Gary Indiana, on August 7, 1945 to the proud parents of Beualah Mae Carter Hill and Willie George Hill. Emma Jean accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She graduated from Carver High School, where she was a band majorette and part of Carver High basketball team. Emma married and raised her children with Roy Clifton Price who remains a dear friend. She later married Jimmy Louis Crayton who remained her loving husband until her death. Emma leaves to cherish her memory her husband Jimmy Louis Crayton; one daughter Teresa Price of Tupelo, MS; two sons: Roy Price (Sheba) of Tupelo, MS and Sherman Price (Lynette) of Atlanta, GA; one step-son Marcus Crayton; four brothers: Otis Hill of Tupelo, MS and Tom Hill (Mary) Tupelo, MS, Bernie White, and Ernest Jones (Stella) of Tupelo, MS; two sisters: Dorothy Allen (John) and Chynthia White both of Tupelo, MS; seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Beualah and Willie G. Hill, her grandparents Norris Carter and Emma Carter and Emma Hill (Big Momma), her brothers Willie George Hill, Jr., Robert Lee Hill, and step son Quincy Duffy. Services will be Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Living Word and Praise Church in Tupelo, MS. Interment will follow at College Hill Church cemetery.
