With deepest sympathy we remember Mr. Eddie James Ewing...
On November 13, 1957 a new life began, Eddie James Ewing was born to Willie B. and Mryal Ewing at home.
At an early age Eddie joined Rising Star M.B. Church.  He attended Shannon High School.  Through the early years Eddie was a true labourer and always a hard worked, getting the job done.  Eddie had a love for his dogs and a passion for hunting.  In between working and hunting he met Rita Allen in early 1975 and on January 24, 1976, they were married.  To this union two children were born, Eddie J. Ewing, Jr., and Daphne N. Ewing.
Eddie leaves to cherish his memory a son Eddie (Marcia) Ewing, Jr., a daughter Daphne Ewing, his ex-wife and comforter in life Rita Ewing, his mother Myrel O. Clifton; two sister-in-laws Janet Carol (Willie B.) Ewing and Barbara (Victor) Ewing; two brothers Larry Ewing and Darrell (Yuvonda) Ewing; one sister/caregiver Armentrus (James) McKinney; four grandchildren Kentavius, Chelsea, Kamal, deandre, Kae'lynn Brand and Madison Ewing and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Willie B. Ewing, Sr.; three brothers Presley Riley, Jr., Willie B. Ewing, Jr., Victor R. Ewing; a daughter Andreanette Shea Ford and grandson Malik Ewing.
Memorial  Services will be on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 2 p.m. at N.L. Jones Funeral Chapel.
