Charles Cedrick Bogan, 45, affectionately known as "Ced" was born June 25, 1972 to Edward Charles Bogan and Marilyn Mayfield Bogan. He departed this life to be with his heavenly father, Sunday June 17, 2018. Charles confessed hope in Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Troy, MS. He graduated Okolona High School Class of 1990 where he was adorned by his classmates and teachers. After graduation he attended Northwest Alabama Community College in Hamilton, AL. He was employed with Nissan North America since 2006. He was devoted and hardworking, he was admired and loved by his co-workers. He leaves to cherish his heartfelt memories his loving mother Marilyn Mayfield Cummings of Okolona, MS; his loving sister Deidre (Eugene) Clinton of Brandon, MS; two daughters Chelsea M. Bogan of Shannon, MS, Christina A. Bogan of Canton, MS; one son Chandler O. Bogan of Shannon, MS; one niece Kendall Clinton of Canton, MS; one grandmother Inez Mayfield of Okolona, MS; uncles Attorney Kenneth (Eloise) Mayfield of Tupelo, MS, Larry Mayfield and David Mayfield both of Okolona, MS, Eddie Bogan, Gilbert Bogan, and Larry (Doretha) Bogan all of Shannon, MS; aunts Doris Gillespie, Annie Marie Bogan, Wanda Bogan, Sherry Bogan, Regina Bogan, Sylvia Bogan all of Shannon, MS. Services will be Saturday June 23, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Okolona High School Gymnasium. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery in the Troy community. Visitation will be Friday June 22, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at N. L. Jones Funeral Directors. Body will lie in state one hour prior to service on Saturday June 23, 2018.
