With deepest sympathy as we remember Ashley Poounds...
Ashley Glynell Pounds 41, beloved daughter of A.C. Pounds and Bonnie Pounds, her loving children Jaylen Thomas Pounds and Jaxon Eric Bingham whom she adored, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 as the result of the tornado in Columbus, MS. Ashley was born October 23, 1977. She was a member of Johnson Chapel M. B. Church. She was a graduate of Shannon High School, a member of Shannon Red Raider Band and a cheerleader. She earned her associate degree from Itawamba Community College and she also attended Mississippi State University.
A celebration of her life will be on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Johnson Chapel M.B. Church with Rev. Marvin J. McWhorter officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 28, 2019 at N. L. Jones Funeral Directors from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Interment will be at Johnson Chapel M. B. Church cemetery.Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.nljonesandsons.com or on Facebook at N.
