Johnny Paris Cole, Jr, was born February 8, 1959, in Lee County, ended his life journey on January 26, 2022, surrounded by his son, Deuanta, and family singing praises songs to God. He professed faith in Christ at an early age and joined Pine Grove M.B Church in Shannon, MS. He served as an usher and was a member of the choir. He worked for 35 years at Lane Furniture until retirement last summer. He loved fishing, singing, and baseball. Johnny established and coached baseball and softball teams when his children were in grade school. He molded and developed the youth in the local area, providing an after-school program sponsored by Mr. Tim Keith under Johnny’s direction. Accolades include advanced to the Youth Fastpitch World Series, Coach of the year 2003-2004 for the Lady Tigers, 2nd place winner Dizzy Dean District Tournament 9-10 years old and, Coach Pitch League Tournament in 2003. His father, Johnnie Paris Cole, Sr., and youngest sister Everlois Cole preceded his homecoming. Johnny was formerly married to Evelyn Cole for 34 years and had three beautiful children through this union.
