Tressa Moncial Spears was born in Plantersville, Lee County Mississippi January 3, 1968 to the late Rush Lyons and Mattie Bell Lyons. She departed this life Saturday, April 21, 2018, 3:45 P.M. at the age of 50. She was preceded in death by her father Rush Lyons; brothers Derrick Lyons, Keith Spears, R.C. Lyons, Rush Lyons, Jr., Tony Lyons and a sister Mary I. Lyons. She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Mattie Lyons of Verona, MS; three sisters Stephanie (Greg) Williams of Verona, MS, Mary L. Lyons of Chicago, IL, Loresa Lyons of Columbia, IN; four brothers Sam Lyons, Harrell Lyons of Chicago, IL, Kenneth Spears and Terrell Spears, both of Verona, MS; five aunts Addie B. Spears of Memphis, TN, Cynthia Birmingham of Plantersville, MS, Peggy Birmingham of Verona, MS, Jennie Buchan of Tupelo, MS and Elizabeth Watkins of Nettleton, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a special friend Leon Shack of Verona, MS. Visitation will be on Friday April 27, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at N. L. Jones Funeral Directors. Services will be on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at N. L. Jones Funeral Chapel.
