Kristin "Nicole " Payton was born to Leon and Mozella Young Payton on September 13, 1993 in Greenville, MS. She departed this life at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS on May 6, 2022 with her parents by her side.

Kristin confessed hope in Christ at an early age. She was a member of Morning Star M.B. Church in Tupelo, MS.

Kristin was a 2012 graduate of Tupelo High School with distinction. She majored in Medical Technology and minored in Micro Biology at MSU 2012-2016 and was also a member of the MSU Nach Dance Team. She went on to University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medical Laboratory Science in Jackson, MS and graduated May 25, 2018 with a B. S. in Medical Laboratory Science.

She worked at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS as a medical laboratory scientist in the blood bank.

Kristin enjoyed being with her family, her son Dallas a 2 year old Siberian Husky, and friends. Traveling, shopping, baking and cooking were just a few of the things she liked to do. She was a very beautiful, strong, kind, smart, respectful and loving person. She was loved by all who knew her and her beautiful smile could light up a room.

Mabry, Lauretta Bryant (Bob) of Prentiss, MS, Winnie Pearl Lofton of Pulaski, MS; special aunt Gail Bowens Thomas, Cynthia Birmingham, Lizzie McCoy, Sharon Thompson Scott; uncles Leo Payton of Bay Springs, MS, Kenny Payton of Pearl, MS, Earl Payton (Marie) of Soso, MS; lifelong friend Christopher Neal of Brooklyn, NY and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Hattie Mae Payton of Bay Springs, MS and grandfather Moses Lee Young of Selma, AL, Joe Lewis Jones of Tupelo, MS, Idell Payton of Bay Springs, MS; uncle Robert Earl Trice (Pookum) of Tupelo, MS
